Great Lyrics: Book of Love

The book of love has music in it
In fact that's where music comes from
Some of it is just transcendental
Some of it is just really dumb

That's one of my favorite lyrics ever. I'm sure it'll fade and no longer be true shortly.

I hope that you've heard the original Magnetic Fields song. Though I love Peter Gabriel, his remake was a bit melodramatic.

You might also enjoy,
"I treated you like radium.
I treated you like God.
You were my glass menagerie.
Did you not find that odd?
I dwelt within and went without and broke my virgin flesh.
I performed acts of devotion as if you were Ganesh, but now I'm crazy for you but not that crazy. I'm crazy for you but not that crazy."

"a bit", that's a bit of an overstatement.
