I'm always torn wanting stupid people to get comeuppance, but the only thing not vaccinating your kid hurts is your kid. Sometimes life fails to hurt the people who most need hurting.

Just last night my girlfriend was guffawing and gasping while reading a Newsweek article about all the fucking dingbats that Oprah has on her show, one of which is Jenny McCarthy, who is an antivaxer. It really is incredible that there are people in this day and age, in a country as developed as the US, who think vaccinations are a BAD idea...
Well it's not like we see that much Polio. But, we often see the needles. Why vaccinate against things that nobody gets?
