America makes me sad.

A Darwin biopic doesn't get a distributor but Expelled does? Seriously?

Critics really like this movie whereas Expelled was shit. I'm not talking on substance but actually filming. It was long and boring and crazy terrible.

I actually do not believe it's impossible for this film to be distributed in the US. I just watched a Swedish movie the other day about a 12 year old boy falling in love with a 12 year old (but actually 200 year old) hermaphroditic, bloodsucking vampire. Sorry, but this just sounds a bit alarmist to me. Honestly what is in this that is so much worse than other foreign films I've seen that found distributors over here? I'll bet this article gains it more attention and someone picks it up later on. If not, I'll pirate it myself and have a group showing. I don't care.

You're not aware of any petitions or anything to get this thing shown in the US are you? Or something to let people know we don't wanna miss out on this movie because of a bunch of creationist fuckwits.

Are you talking crap about "Let the Right One In"? Also generally called "Oscar"?

Now, Hounddog that's a movie that couldn't get a distributor. Though it finally did last year. Sadly the movie itself was pretty sucky.

I'm pretty sure this film will get a distributor in short order. Just odd that they aren't all bidding for it.

No, I absolutely LOVED Let the Right one In. Best horror movie I've seen in a long time...maybe ever. I was just trying to think of disturbing foreign films that found distributors.
